Yup, this is no Ocicat...... This is a CFA Registered Cream and White Grand Premier PERSIAN who goes by the name of "Edsel". He was given to me by a dear friend who has since passed away. Edsel was raised with my Ocicats and thinks they are just swell. He was born October 10, 2003 and had a very successful career as a show cat - in fact he loved it! We want to find a special home where he can retire in comfort. That beautiful coat and those large gorgeous eyes require daily attention. I shave him down in the summertime so that he can enjoy the warm days.  We think a quiet house where he can grace the couch with his beauty and provide his gentle company would be ideal. Ocigatos also participates in Ocicat Rescue. We work to  facilitate finding new homes for Ocicats who can no longer remain with their owner. Luckily that is a rather rare event. Finding new homes can take time. Usually we are unable to take Ocicats for fostering due to our limited size. We encourage all new owners to think carefully about their ability to provide long term care for a pet and to only purchase from a breeder who will will take cats of their own breeding back should an emergency arise.
